The Shoreditch Christmas Market & Winter Gathering is about fusing local creative talent with a family friendly environment. It's about bringing together and celebrating the local communities that live and work in today's Shoreditch, making the area the 'must go' exciting location it has become. This exciting and magical Christmas market in the heart of creative London brings you funky eco-chic,beautifully handmade, locally produced unique Christmas gifts.

The aim of the market, in line with the ethos of the Red Gallery, is to encourage and support first time traders, as well as showcase established self starters who work with recycled materials, fair trade products, home made and locally sourced crafts and fashions. Traders will be invited to do workshops and demos throughout the day to show people how they work and make things to sell.

This market is for everyone and if you want to buy original work by some of the best independent designers that London has to offer there is only one place to be. At the Shoreditch Christmas Crafts Market you will be able to choose from a range of local stalls selling food, redesigned, up-cycled furniture and clothes, vintage fashions, jewellery, arts and crafts and home ware all from brought to you with love from the creative heart of London. Look out for Oscar Wild's children's stories on the Saturday 19th for family entertainment.

The Red Gallery is seen as the beating heart of east end culture, it has an estimated to have 10,000 people walk through its doors week on week for the Tokyo Nights pop up, which has re-invented the whole night market culture with some of the finest food and entertainment in the UK. The Red Market was one of, if not - the innovator of the new wave of street markets in the UK 6 years ago, and now the venue that is the ultimate offering to Londoner's and tourists. The Shoreditch Christmas market will run from 11am – 5pm both days, with the evening merging into a full on Christmas party with the closing weekend of Tokyo Nights, this is one not to missed.
