Join Beverley to Make Delicious Christmas Goodies

Enjoy a stress free Christmas – come and make your edible Christmas gifts for friends and family with Beverley at her home kitchen cookery school in The Chilterns.

Homemade delicious gifts are far more personal than shop bought ones and more fun to make too.

Beverley will welcome you into the kitchen of her 17th century mill house on the edge of the Chiltern Hills and guide you through making a selection of edible Christmas gifts on Friday 4 December, £75 each, to take home and give as gifts. Homemade soup and bread will be served for lunch and Beverley will pass on heaps of tips for cooking your Christmas lunch too, with an AGA or a conventional oven.

There are workshops for children and teenagers too – a great way of getting them out of the house making their own gifts so you can do the gift wrapping in peace and quiet.

Saturday 12 December – Christmas Gingerbread workshop for ages 7+, £65 per child.  Based in Princes Risborough the workshop takes place from 10am-3.30pm

Wednesday 16 December and Thursday 17 December – A two day Gingerbread and Edible Christmas bonanza.  Full sized gingerbread houses and heaps of edible gifts for ages 7-15 years, £150 per child or teenager.  Based at Berkhamsted Basecamp the workshop takes place from 9.30am-4.30pm over two days.

“Gifts that have been handmade are always more welcome than shop bought gifts as they have a more personal touch. Someone has taken time, care and love to make something delicious for you and that's what Christmas is all about,” says Beverley Glock, author, broadcaster and founder of Beverley Glock Cookery School and Splat Cooking Parties.

Beverley has made London Landmarks out of gingerbread for Country Living Christmas Fair and has been running gingerbread workshops for many years. Attached is her Lebkuchen recipe.

Beverley has recipes on her YouTube channel so that people who come on the workshops will have this as a guide once they return home.
