The Most Glamorous Edinburgh Festivals Pop Up



Edinburgh Festival favourite, The Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar, is the most glamorous place to pop your cork this year!

Set in the most gorgeous surroundings of Edinburgh's historic Signet Library on the Royal Mile, the pop up offers the finest in Pommery Champagne and scratch cooked food from Friday 1 August to Monday 25 August 2014. While right in the heart of festival fever, the Pommery Bar is a luxurious haven and the place to rest weary legs with a chilled glass of Pommery and a plate of lobster or a homegrown Scottish burger.

Champagne Tutored Tasting

This event is a unique experience for champagne lovers or novices alike. Engaging and energetic tutored tasting of four seasonal Pommery champagnes from Sarah Hicks, followed by sharing platters and a further glass of champagne in the cafe bar.

Chocolate, Whiskies and Cocktails
Annabel Meikle – The Whisky Belle
3 / 10 / 17 / 24 August - 2 pm
A luxurious experience for an indulgent Sunday afternoon, this is an engaging interactive introduction to whisky. Taste two whiskies and two whisky cocktails showcasing The Famous Grouse family, paired with exquisite chocolates from The Highland Chocolatier.

Four Beers and a Burger
Meet the Brewer – Knops Beer Company Ltd
4 / 11 / 18 August – 7 pm
The Pommery Bar serves brilliant artisan beers from local lads Knops Brewery. Sample the beers and meet the brewer, hear the tales behind the ales and enjoy one of our superb Pommery Burgers.

Single Malt Sundays

Take a journey around Scotland in a glass. Sample four regional single malt whiskies and be expertly guided through the variety of styles. Enjoy a selection of Scottish tapas bites made to enhance the experience. Perfect for sharing with friends.
