Celebrity Chefs Serve Up Festive Celebrations At Padstow's 5th Annual Christmas Festival


A selection of celebrity chefs are set to serve up a stunning start to the festive season at Padstow's star studded 5th annual Christmas Festival, starting on Friday 7th December and closing on Sunday 9th December 2012.
The Tanner Brothers and Jack Stein kick things off in style on Friday with a series of scrumptious food demonstrations and talks. On Saturday Phil Vickery of ITV's This Morning starts the day off at 10.30am followed by a fascinating food forum featuring Nathan Outlaw, Jack Stein, Carl Clarke and Mark Hix. At 2.15pm Angela Hartnett, Gaynor Coley and Polly Dent step up to the stage, followed at 4.30pm by a master class demonstration with Rick Stein and Paul Harwood. Sunday sees a further series of demonstrations, closing at 4.15pm with rising star Nathan Outlaw.

Padstow's Christmas Festival promises an array of seasonal treats including Christmas lights and decorations, fireworks, seasonal food, festive demonstrations, Santa's grotto, and late night shopping.
A traditional Christmas market will take place in a large marquee on the quay side groaning with Cornish goodies and gifts. Food and drink stands will be celebrating all things Cornish offering sensational tastings, seasonal food, mulled wine and live cookery demonstrations.
Padstow's boutique retailers will also put on a show with their selection of artisan jewellery, fashion, crafts, and home wares to choose from. With live music and entertainment to keep everyone entertained, Padstow's Christmas Festival offers a great way to make the most of a winter's day.
The celebrations will culminate with a special Christmas service and carols at the historic St Petroc's church at 6pm on Sunday evening.
