Grilled, Blue, Goat’s, Raw, Baked: the ultimate festival for Curd Nerds returns this Autumn

 3 July 2012

From 12-14 October, London’s Southbank Centre will once again play host to
The Cheese & Wine Festival.

Celebrating the ultimate coupling of cheese and wine, this autumn’s festival
will not only feature Master of Wine Tim Atkin, who will be running tutored
wine tastings, but also cheese guru Patricia Michelson and a host of chefs
demonstrating their favourite cheese recipes and key note speakers.

New for this year will be the Cheese Feast, a communal dining experience
where visitors will be able to book a 3 course cheese inspired meal, cooked
by renowned Chef and culinary expert Valentina Harris complete with a choice
of wines.

Over 45 stalls will be providing visitors with the opportunity to taste
artisan cheese and dairy in all its forms, (including cheese macarons,
grilled cheese and tartiflette), shop for foodie gifts, choose from a
selection of hot food with cheese, and of course find their ideal wines,
from as far afield as Italy, Australia and South America.

The Cheese & Wine Festival will be open from 10am-8pm, Friday and Saturday,
and 10am-6pm Sunday.

Admission is generally free, but some tastings will be ticketed and require
pre-booking and payment. A full programme and tickets will be available from
